So I've been on a quest for a blue lipstick since the summertime. I happened to pick up one by Jesse's Girl for $2.99 +, but it turned out to be one of those mood changing thingies that turns pinkish purple when applied....whomp whomp... (It was still cute tho). MAC has a blue one, but apparently its only seasonal. So, I turned to my good girlfriend Google, who never let's me down. :) She told me that OCC Makeup has a blue lip tar. I then recalled hearing about it & seeing it on a friend & dope photographer in one of her pics (Idk if she reads this. If so, hi Ty!). In my head I go 'woohoo' until I see the cost- $16 + shipping & handling on their site. Now $16 may not be much to some but it is to my broke self! lol Back to sq one....
Until my worries came to a halt, via YouTube. A video of a MUA by the name of TymetheInfamous (who's pretty dope) shows her creating her own lip color. So, I decided to give it a try. I took my NYX Jumbo Eye pencil (which I usually use as a eyeshadow base) colored in my lips, packed on my favorite teal shadow w/ a dome brush (heavily dabbing not swiping) & topped it off with a clear flavored gloss...since eyeshadow & pencil don't taste that great lol...Completed with a peachy contour & pink WnW cheek & POW! I had my teal lip & spent $0 since I already had the supplies needed. Even if I had to purchase them: NYX PENCIL- > $6, or LA COLOR PENCIL in Seashell- $1 does virtually the same thing, my LA COLOR Mineral Eyeshadow- $1, & the dollarstore carries flavored gloss, so my total would still be > $10. I'll take that! Thank u, Miss Tyme lol

Go Nae! I love it!! TymetheInfamous is definitelt the deal. I'll more than likely resort to this technique when my lip tar runs out. I've been dabbing eye shadow on them anyway when I want to make them last and not have to reapply it as much.
I LOVE Tymetheinfamous and am so hooked on her channel! She has some beautiful bold looks!!! Nice job!
