Product Review: NK's HD Eyeshadow

So if u live in or are from Philly, I'm certain u've shopped in ur fair share of beauty supply stores (also infamously known as the hair stores lol). Well if not, I know I have & since I'm no weave wearer (its itchy & my scalp rejects it lol), when I'm not looking for products for my fickle scalp or grabbing $1 earrings, of course I'm in search of cheap makeup! :) haha I've noticed over the past yr or so even for lower end products, 'HD' (high definition) has been the rave. I suppose the purpose is for the product to appear better on camera, less ghostly & more natural.
-___- Well, I say how commendable of some & TRY AGAIN for others lol. Fortunately, that is not the case for NK's HD shadows.
I've been complaining to my mom about not being able to find the blackest of black eyeshadows w/o spending over $5. However, the more looks I create, the more I realize I have to step out my pockets' comfort zone when it comes to eyeshadow especially. As I've stated b4, I adore higher end products as much as the next makeup addict but it's an expensive addiction that I, as many others, can't afford all the time. :( Although There are products I refuse to find dupes for given their quality, for the most part I'm in constant search for cheaper alternatives. So, when I noticed NK's HD black shadow, I was praying it would work out between us lol. And for the most part it did. At $1.49, I've previously grabbed a few of NK's other shadows & was impressed. The colors were highly pigmented & easier to blend than other low end shadows. The black showed up pretty prominent in photos, which never happens when I use other blacks, such as the ones found in Wet n Wild palettes. So NK, u get a thumbs up from me! :)
