12 Days of Christmas- Day 9

Ok...I've been slacking...here's Day 9...A soft neutral eye with a red lip. I actually did this look for one of the monthly Black Opal contest, so I'm cheating. However, I think its still perfect for the holidays

 

I'm a sucker for a good thick wing liner...

The theme was retro glam....winged liner and red lips were a requirement. So, of course I automatically thought Marilyn Monroe-esque

See that trick in the corner?? With the white shadow and thin black shadowy line going down twd the cheekbone? I learned that Marilyn's makeup artist used this trick to widen the eye, and to make her bottom lashes appear thicker and fanned out. Nevertheless, the "trick" didn't give that illusion on me; rather, its just looks adorbs lol

12 Days of Christmas- Day 8: "HOW TO" BROW VIDEOS!

Soooooooo Day 8 is a lil ratchet....ok so a lot of ratchet,. However, its for a good reason. I'm getting asked about my eyebrows again, so this time I decided to do a few video breaking down the process of how I paint them on...YES! MY FIRST VIDEOS!! Now the quality of light is sucky, and I am looking crazy. Nonetheless, you can get the gist of whats happening. I do suggest you expand the video There is a bit of detailing and reading involved. So, here we go!

Ok, so you see my struggle! Y'all don't know how long it took me just to grow the lil piece of brow I do have! Shout out to all the brow waxers who've ran off with my brows, and my $5 per session for yrs! Anywho, the process begins....

Now you can stop at filling them in. However, I prefer a cleaner look. So, the next step is necessary for me...

Cleaning up the other brow, final touch ups (b/c I'm a perfectionist), and DONE!!!!
